WUMC Spring Festival—FREE admission

El Rey Fido began in 2002 as a spin on the Fiesta Royalty title of a similar name: Rey Feo. At this event, Rey Feo himself

Viva Botanica ($)

Bring the whole family to explore 38 acres of nature during this family-friendly event. Guests can explore a botanical

San Jacinto Victory Celebration—FREE admission

Texas Independence was won on April 21, 1836, at the Battle of San Jacinto. Learn about the victory from speakers,
enjoy the winning essay by an area student, and pay homage to those Texans who fought so valiantly.

The Circle for Life Motorcycle Ride ($)

This ride is the fastest parade in Fiesta. Kickstands up at 10am. This is a police-escorted ride to make it safe and fun.

Annual Pilgrimage to the Alamo—FREE
Monday 4-5pm from Vietnam War Memorial to the Alamo https://vietnamveteransmemorialofsanantonio.com/
This is a solemn and silent procession for 6 blocks from the Vietnam War Memorial to the Alamo, in which all of the 500
participants in the Pilgrimage walk as members of the groups represented, carrying floral tributes to be placed on the
Alamo green, before taking a seat in Alamo Plaza.

Ford Mariachi Festival—FREE admission (Tuesday-Wed-Thurs)
Tuesday-Thursday on the River Walk www.fiestasanantonio.org
This free, official Fiesta event features Mariachi bands and Folklorico dancers from local schools and colleges. Barges
randomly stop and play music. Each group wears a traditional mariachi costume or Folklorico dress. Free viewing along
the entire 2 ½ mile downtown portion of the River Walk.

A Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) (Tuesday-Wed-Thurs-April 26) ($)

NIOSA brings the city’s heritage alive in its 14 cultural areas. It is produced by and benefits The Conservation Society of
San Antonio. NIOSA 2024 will again sell paper coupons for food, drink, souvenirs on the grounds that can be purchased
on the NIOSA grounds during the event. Note: All backpacks and any bags larger than 12” x 12” x 6”–including diaper
bags–are prohibited. Admission: $20.
